Exhibitions > Seven III 2015

SEVEN began in 2012 as an experimental idea to activate our main exhibition space over the summer. We ended up loving the initial exhibition process and the resulting works so much that we repeated the concept in 2013 and 2015.

For each exhibition, seven New England artists were invited to ‘draw’ directly onto one of the seven gallery walls for one week at a time. Most began on Sunday night or Monday morning and ended Thursday at 4pm, when we would have a public gallery talk and a reception celebrating the completed work. Some added finishing touches on Friday morning. With no guidelines or theme artists were free to design their wall as they pleased.
